I’ve seen star wall hangings on Pinterest a few times and thought they were cute. I knew I could easily make my own.

For the last few years, I’ve dabbled with oven bake clay to make holiday ornaments and knew that would be the perfect medium. Like my last post, this isn’t really a DIY because it’s such a simple project it’s not worth typing out directions, but I do want to document it as a craft that is worthy of your time if you’re in to such things.

I find working with simple materials like clay and string to be quite soothing. And a pretty project that doesn’t require much thought is a balm in a busy world, don’t you think? This was pure fun to make and adds a bit of whimsy to our stairwell.
